What makes us different?
Finding a nursery you can trust to care for your child in their early years can be a daunting task. With this in mind we have set out to create an independently run nurturing and homely nursery setting where all children, parents and staff can feel the true sense of a “home from home.”
Home from Home Nursery Worthing is set within a spacious and charismatic detached Victorian house on leafy Grand Avenue and only a pebble’s throw from the beach. Our warm and comforting colour scheme, natural wooden furniture, large spacious rooms and beautiful acre of garden ensures the children benefit from a familiar, fun and relaxing environment. Free movement between rooms is central to our ethos. The garden with lawn, wood chip, decking, scientific area, fruit trees, children’s allotment and hideaway is treated as an extension to the house where the children are free to explore, learn and play.
Professional Nursery Child
The staff at Home from Home will be carefully selected, dedicated and experienced, caring individuals led by a senior team of qualified teachers. Each staff member will be passionate about providing the best for your child and will work closely with families using a key person system to provide excellent care and communication.
Our child care covers 6 months to 5 years operating from 7.30 am to 6 pm weekdays. Our small staff to child ratios of 1:2 in our Toddler Unit and 1:4 in our Pre-school ensure the highest level of personal care and bonding with your child.
Trips take place daily in the Baby and Toddler Rooms to give children first hand experience of the local environment. They are always supervised on a 1 : 2 basis.
